Songbirds with Miss Maegan

First Fridays at 10:00 - This unique class for ages 0 months -3 years old (All are welcome even beyond 3 years old for this event) it incorporates singing, movement, and mindfulness to foster confidence, self-expression, body boundaries, and emotional awareness. Through songs and movement, children learn body positivity and self esteem in a fun, welcoming environment. (This includes parachute time, instruments, scarfs, etc!)

Soul Revival Yoga

Second Fridays at 10:00 - Lindsey Beals is the Owner + Founder of Soul Revival – Central Maine’s first barre, pilates, yoga and wellness studio. She has spent most of her career as a full-time Holistic Movement & Meditation Educator and Teacher Trainer and strives to bring light, humor and inspiration to others through her work. Lindsey is fueled by being of service and is committed to building community through wellness and empowering others to unlock their fullest potential.

Members-Only Hours

Each month we will have members-only hours on a Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 as a special thank you for supporting the museum.

at Viles Arboretum in Augusta

Join us for a magical afternoon filled with face painting, food, games, crafts, guided walks through the woods, and of course, fairy house building!

This event is free with a suggested $5 donation. We also have our Enchanted Goody Bags with a crown or mask, wand, stickers, tattoos, and a day pass to the museum for $10! Passport to Play

We’re thrilled to announce Passport to Play, a partnership with First Bank to welcome Coastal Children’s Museum member families for a free visit this winter!

From November 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026, Coastal members can enjoy hands-on exhibits, imaginative play spaces, and special activities—all at no cost. No preregistration required, just let us know who you are and we can look you up!

Fun Fund

Give the gift of fun to another child this season with our Fun Fund: all donations will be used to gift admission to our programs and events to a family that otherwise may not be able to participate.

This project was born through the idea that as a community we can come together to offer opportunities to play to all children.
